RUSSIAN TEA ROOM ADVERTISING POSTER VERY VERY RARE!! A New York institution founded in 1927, the Russian Tea Room served for years as a meeting place for high society and the cultural elite. Perhaps too elite to warrant advertising, few posters for the establishment exist. An undated menu in the New York Public Library, with this lively image on its cover, attributes the design to Richard Giglio. This poster bears the Tea Room's oft repeated and beloved slogan, slightly to the left of Carnegie Hall.MINOR WATER DAMAGE ON THE REAR CAN BE SEEN BUT NOT VISIBLE ON THE FRONT. GOOD LUCK LOCATING THIS ADVERTISING POSTER ANYWHERE ELSE!! FRAME MEASURES 29" X 21". This item is in the category "Collectibles\Paper\Menus".
