Russian Glass Slides History of Moscow very rare collection Diafoto slides
I have 3 boxes of vintage Diafoto Glass Slides. Generally unavailable to the public. There is one known collection at Harvard University. The Diafoto factory in Moscow was famous for the captioned educational slides it manufactured from the 1930s through the 1950s. Few of these so-called "diapositives" have survived to this day. According to Harvard -This is believed to be the only collection of Diafoto slides held by a library in the United States. I have 3 boxes of these slides, See pictures.
2 are in the original boxes with a booklet all in Russian. 150 total number of slides. Plus 40 black and white photographs. Glass slides measure 1 3/4" x 2 3/8". For serious buyers I will take more pictures and answer any questions.
They have been virtually untouched since the 1950's. It is time someone enjoyed them.
